Billasoft ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Krishok Vai (কৃষক ভাই) mobile application ("Application"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use it.

A · Location Data

With your permission, the Application accesses your device's location (approximate and precise) via standard system APIs.

Transient · encrypted

Purpose — to retrieve live weather forecasts, weather alerts, and regional crop planting suggestions.
Processing — location data is processed transiently over encrypted HTTPS connections and is never saved permanently on our servers or sold to third parties.

B · Photos & Camera Access

If you use the AI Leaf Disease Diagnostic or Pest Identification features, the Application requires permission to access your camera or photo library.

Sent to Gemini

Purpose — to analyze plant leaves and identify diseases or agricultural pests.
Processing — selected images are transmitted securely over HTTPS to the Google Gemini AI API for immediate image recognition and diagnosis. Images are not stored on our servers.

Third-Party Services

2 external APIs

Our Application integrates with trusted third-party services to deliver real-time features:

Google Gemini API — used for plant disease diagnosis, species identification, and AI chatbot responses. Data sent to Gemini is handled in accordance with Google's AI data privacy policies.
Open-Meteo API — used for weather forecasts and agricultural weather alerts based on geographic coordinates.

Data Security

No accounts stored

We implement industry-standard encryption protocols (HTTPS/TLS) to secure data during transit. We do not require account registration, and we do not store personal profiles, passwords, or persistent tracking IDs on central servers.

Children's Privacy

Ages 13+

Our Application is intended for general audiences — agricultural users, commercial growers, and gardeners — aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13.
